The Raffia Restaurant, named after the gigantic indigenous Raffia Palm, is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is an extensive a la carte menu and fresh fish and local Curry are our speciality. People have been known to drive fifty kilometers for these. An appetising selection of other local and international specialities is on offer including: Peri Peri Prawns, Bobotie, Strandloper Chowder. If you're the breakfast type or just want to get going early on a full tummy or are on a Sunday biker/Vintage car/MG Club/ run, then call us beforehand (all breakfasts must be pre-booked). We'll do what we can. At the Raffia Restaurant you don't have to be an expert to enjoy our beautiful birds. They lend their colourful names to dishes such as the Spoonbill, Firefinch and Honeyguide. |
